1. Read 2 Timothy 4 at least once.

2. Read 2 Timothy 4:1-5 at least twice.

3. Read 2 Timothy 4:1-5 in at least two different Bible translations. I like how the Jerusalem Bible renders verse 3: "The time is sure to come when, far from being content with sound teaching, people will be avid for the latest novelty and collect themselves a whole series of teachers according to their own tastes."

4. Look up the meanings of the words/terms that you found in your reading from Day One.

Study Questions:

1. What is Paul calling Timothy to do as he is preaching God's word (verse 2)?
2. Are the ear ticklers going to come on the scene in the future or are they already there in their midst?
3. What do you think Paul means by "myths" in verse 4?
