Observation: What do I see in the text?
Interpretation: What does the text mean?
1. Read Titus 1 at least once.
2. Read Titus 1:10-16 at least twice.
3. Read Titus 1:10-16 in at least two different Bible translations. I appreciate how "The Message" renders verse 16: "They say they know God, but their actions speak louder than their words. They're real creeps, disobedient good-for-nothings. "
4. Look up the meanings of the words/terms you found in your reading from Day Four.
Study Questions:
- Who are "those of the circumscision"?
- Why is it so important to silence false teaching in verse 11?
- What does Paul mean by being "sound in the Faith"?
- What is the source of "myths" and "commandments" in verse 14?
