Daily Bible Study: Day Five- Titus 1:10-16

Modern Gnosticism & The Timeless Apologetic: The Biblical Teaching Against False Teaching

Observation: What do I see in the text?
Interpretation: What does the text mean?

1. Read Titus 1 at least once.

2. Read Titus 1:10-16 at least twice.

3. Read Titus 1:10-16 in at least two different Bible translations. I appreciate how "The Message" renders verse 16: "They say they know God, but their actions speak louder than their words. They're real creeps, disobedient good-for-nothings. "

4. Look up the meanings of the words/terms you found in your reading from Day Four.

Study Questions:
  1. Who are "those of the circumscision"?
  2. Why is it so important to silence false teaching in verse 11?
  3. What does Paul mean by being "sound in the Faith"?
  4. What is the source of "myths" and "commandments" in verse 14?
